| Westport-based singer, Lucinda Wilson releases new single“Queen of Hearts”.It’s her 6thsingle release to date and Lucinda said “I have wanted to record this song for as long as I can remember because it was always playing whilst I grew up in a tightly knit Irish community back in London. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed recording it”. Recorded and produced by Clive Culbertson, this track is lively and upbeat with connotations of the original version by Dave Edmunds (written by Hank DeVito) but still with a twist of Irish country. Brought up in London to Irish parents (Mayo and Leitrim), Lucinda is following her dream of singing since moving back to Westport, Co Mayo almost 4 years ago. Having released Country Medley, Bright Blue Rose, Caledonia, I’ll Be There and Cottage in the Country – all tracks have received good radio airplay and significant plays on streaming platforms with interviews on Midwest Radio and Highland Radio, amongst others.
